Clan war & Nation War?

Okay so I browsed through the archive and it seems there's nothing special happening. Just the ordinary 1v1 2v2 league. I was thinking why not we have two new ladders for fastest community? You know have ladder standings for clans like how iccup has one. Also about nation wars, setup another new ladder for nation wars where everyone choose to represent their nation and somehow earn points for it. What does everyone think?

Especially for clan ladders, I believe we have enough.. we have xtre, gangsters pro, XP, sadistic, and fire... There might be more and are unlisted...

Think this would have to come down to continental war. Most countries lack the numbers.

Provide some sort of a small incentive to the top clans or nations that participate in this. My idea goes like this:

Clan Wars:

1. The more points you earn for your team, the higher the rank your team ranks up in the "Clan War Standing".
2. At the end of the season, Top 2 clans will compete in a clan battle.

3. Clan Leader choose their 5 top 1v1er's and two pairs of top 2v2er's and have 5x 1v1/2v2 format(Have own clan members 1v1 each other to find out who are the top 5 1v1er's). Or another option is have 5 member vs 5 members in a King Of The Hill Match. Example for this would be a player can keep 1v1ing until he loses, than the next teammate will go up next. Same like "King Of Fighters "Acade game style.

So basically not only you earn points for your 1v1 or 2v2 standings, part of those points gets added towards "clan ladder standing"..


Nation War:

1. Everyone register for their nation.
 Example: SkG)SMN - Russia, Xtre-Maba, USA, and Xtre-Kon - China


2.  Top 5 respresentatives of each country will compete against other top 5 reps.

3. Each top 5 reps will have rotations in vsing each nation. Whichever team collects the most points or with the most wins, will have their nation crowned as the best for that season etc..


This is just a rough draft..

Anyway, VGT did this same type of set-up during their league. They had clan standings, so the members of the clan helped rank up their team by playing league games. Bringing something like this back may help with bringing in more clans and teams to the game. At the moment there's only a handful of clans to make it work, but hopefully it would bring more with it. I think it's a good idea.

We had clan standings in UGL and nobody used them. Would it be any different here?

not sure how u guys ran the clan standings but  maybe the way it was organized was not intriguing enough to attract players?

There was no real way to view the clan standings as I recall. If you had them on the side under the 1v1 standings on every page it would help. Personally I'd rather see the clan standings and 2v2 standings top 5 listed on the left side rather than the website stats. I don' think many people care how many visitors and member stats the site has.
