SCW 5 Play-OFFS THREAD - Information & Discussion

Welcome to the "official SCW season 5 Play-offs thread". You can find the report thread here: (ADDED ON JUNE 3RD.)

 ANNOUNCEMENT: We are moving the tournament to the weekend (June 8-10). Tournament starts when both Jose./Zerg- and Spirits can be online at the same time. Please post in this thread at what time you can be online. Please use website time.

• At the conclusion of the season (3rd of June), the top four 1vs1 ranks are seeded according to their rank into the play-off bracket. This means that if someone has two accounts in the top 4, they will get seeded twice. If the person has to play him/herself, one of the two accounts will proceed to the next round.
• There are three rounds. In round one Rank 4 plays versus rank 3 in a Best of 5. In round two the winner of round one plays versus rank 2 in a best of 5. The winner of round two plays versus rank 1 the finals in a best of 7 to determine the winner.
• All matches will be played on the SCW 5 2.0 map or the regular SCW 5 map. (See attachments)
• All matches will be Random vs Random unless the players agree on a mirror match-up.
• Leaving at the start, unless it can be proven your opponent picked a race without an agreement, will results in a loss.
• Disconnecting will result in a loss, unless it can be proven in the replay that you were winning up until the point of disconnection. Players are to provide evidence or a witness that their enemy disconnected. Make a screenshot of your opponents disconnecting.

Prize: $150 1st place & $25 second place.

I'm about to go 600 km from my home to work in central during 9 weeks so i will be able to play only week ends.

23:59 website time today is the ending. Play-Offs will start immediately after that. Players have to post here that they are online and able to play. Players have two days to play their matches or be disqualified. So do your best to make appointments with your opponents when you can both be online.

Sail still has a shot as getting seed number 4 if he can get 220 Points before the season ends.

You're in the second round. That means you have 48 hours after round 1 finishes to play your games. When do you go to Central?

Not sure if buu plays he cans reach top 2 , i can't log in during the week monday tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday... i will be on saturday and sunday only

If you can't play at all during the play-offs period you can choose not to participate. The rankings will shift to rank 1, rank 3, rank 4 and rank 5. Alternatively, if the other players in the top 4 agree, we can move round two and three to the coming weekend (June 9 and 10) if you stay on second rank. That would result in only 12 matches having to be played over the weekend when it is easier for everyone to be online. ALTERNATIVELY to the alternative, we could move the entire tournament to the weekend if all participants agree to it.

Just think , all players should understand lot of participants have life next to sc, family, job, then we can understand 3,4 days to earn money from league. I didnt choosed to work at 600-km with for sure a bad conexion. Imo it should be not z problem to wait week end to end it.

Lol look at this nerd thread. Bosznik just quit your job and play sc 24/7 like premier does seems like this guy has no life.  You guys waste so much time and energy just to win a 100 bucks.

I quit my job because i didn't enjoy it and I didn't need the money I was making from it. That's a lot of free time. I start University in September.

Now shoo, go be annoying somewhere else.
