Great news, Tom’s first surgery on the front of his skull went really well! The medical team is closely monitoring him to prevent any CSF infections or hydrocephalus. His facial reconstruction is expected next week. He’s still in the ICU, showing incredible strength. While he isn’t able to speak yet, we know he can hear us. His family has been informed. His mother and sister arrived yesterday and are by his side in the ICU every day. Thomas is scheduled for another surgery next week.

We are still awaiting the police report to understand what happened. As of now, no one knows the details of how he got to the hospital. What we do know is that a guardian angel is watching over Thomas.

Quick update on Thomas - his reconstructive facial surgery is set for Thursday. He’ll be in the ICU for the next three weeks under close watch. No brain damage at all, though his eyes are still in rough shape due to swelling. The good news - he’s talking again! I’ll share more updates after surgery. Thank you all for the continued support!
