Looking to get back into it. What's good laptop or desktop for gaming?

Looking to get the Razer mouse and keyboard atm.

Asus Strix laptops are pretty good for their price.

trash. just go to the subreddit and tell them your budget. You'll build something way better than a shitty laptop with terrible thermals.

i went to a store (aarons) and got a gaming desktop. its badass, 6 core processor, liquid cooling, can change colors, do colored streams, sounds kind of gay but its legit sick af lol. anyways this comp was like $2,500 for everything monitor, mouse, gaming keyboard.. i walked out that day paying only $40.00 they had some deal going on that day.. i pay like $140.00 a month i think til its paid off. did the same thing there with an xbox 1s. theres rent a center and stores where you can do stuff like this.. dont need good credit just need to have had a decent job for atleast 2 years..

Laptops are trash for gaming unless you're willing to lay down some serious cash. They heat up a lot which is a big no no for PC's. If you want a gaming pc go for a desktop. You could build a pretty solid gaming PC under 800$. Sounds hard but trust me its not, google a guide, newegg youtube channel has a legit like 2-3 part series. Build it, you wont regret it.

PT1 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPIXAtNGGCw
PT2 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_56kyib-Ls
PT3 - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxaVBsXEiok

Newer Shorter Version(Never seen it but I glanced through it quickly) - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npGL2-pRXlU

Try staying away from "gaming PCs" name titles unless you sort of understand what you're looking for or don't really care about what you're paying for lol(they are mostly scams). Most of the time these "gaming" pcs are overpriced PC's with a few lights on the case.

Ask in reliable sites like reddit. Give a budget, link the PC or tell them to put together a part list for you to purchase. I might be able to put a part list together if you want or look for a half decent PC but that is only if I can find the spare time, not 100% guaranteed I could though so wouldn't count on it.

What's up BLUE? This the one i knew from years ago?

No matter what it was a rip off. Aarons is a horrible company that gets you HARD on interest rates. Source- local ones throughout half of my state tried to steal me from my old employer. I considered it one day until i learned the commission structure and how badly they get over on people.
HOWEVER, if you're comfortable paying that price, and it works for you, then its a good deal!

I got an Acer Predator Helios 300 about a year ago, this model really:

https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-Overclockable-Aeroblade-PH315-51-78NP/dp/B07CTHLX8C/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2D81E9ELZ6HA0&dchild=1&keywords=acer+predator+helios+300&qid=1586279671&sprefix=acer+predato%2Caps%2C225&sr=8-4

I sold my desktop which I had just built and switched to this, I am very happy with it since I can unhook it from my desk and take it around the house with me...

I can play pretty much any game and they look great, I know it's not top specs and everything but the 144hz display and everything looks sick.  10/10 would buy again... :D
