Regarding "Friends," these individuals generously contribute their hard-earned money to fuel such substantial prize pools, thereby drawing in new players and Koreans—something you've yet to do.

You not only shed tears over the Season 40 Tournament because the Koreans weren't positioned on the same bracket side, claiming it was "unfair," but you also had the audacity to do so. Laughing my ass off.

The longer seasons are much better because 1 month and a half, people with lives outside of bw cant play enough to have a shot at top 10 because the current system reward grinding a lot until a certain rank.

Well, I saw a lot of inactivity in the league after the 1st month, as 3 weeks, everyone was comfortable with the positions, I'm referring to that unnecessary wait.

The tournament that Lucas is talking about did not know how to organize the brackets correctly and fairly, harming Hydra, but he continues to make mistakes. Well, now the map is just changing the name but you don't know the work that went into that map from season 11 to 31 with updates.

I said friends because of the way they acted at the beginning of this season and not wanting to do anything to fix it. And I was always willing to collaborate ´´give me you email´´.

Riddick donated the most money, he should have the most say in what kind of tournament happens. But I do feel like the highest ranked few should get some benefit out of being ranked higher than the others in the top 8.

In the past we had some gauntlet tournaments where it was 8 vs 7, winner vs 6, winner vs 5, winner vs 4, winner vs 3, winner vs 2, winner vs 1. This way placement on the ladder actually comes with a benefit.

If its a straight up standard top 8 tournament being a higher rank on the ladder comes with no benefits which somewhat nullifies the incentive to place higher. It means rank 1 gets the exact same thing as being rank 8, yet rank 1 has 840 more points than rank 8. There should be some benefit to being ranked higher to incentivize putting in more games and to reward actually winning more matches.

A 6 player tournament would allow rank 1 and 2 to skip round 1 of the tournament and hence get a benefit out of being ranked higher. 10 player tournament would achieve the same effect.

Another format for 8 player tournament could be to have 2 groups of 3 consisting of players ranked 3 to 8. In each group they each play one another once in a best of 5. This should result in one player per group coming out in 1st. This player then proceeds to the bracket stage where the top 4 players(rank 1 and 2 are already placed here) and play out the semi-finals and the finals.

Good tournament idea. That is logical that 1st place has the greatest reward.

I remember the biggest tournament that there was was the one with 9 players, 3 groups of 3, and the 1st place chose its rivals except the 2nd and 3rd place because then they chose the other rivals like ASL. As you say, the one who donated must have an importance as to how the tournament should be held.

Perfect and I’m happy you brought up benefits. The tournament fainer is crying about it was 1 v 8 2 v 7 and went from there basically giving the top spots an easier opponent. It had nothing to do with friendship, I got put up vs whiteandblack right off the bat. Just ppl complain and it was decided top 8 before the season started
