Breaking news!!!! The leader of Greenland wants to meet with Donald Trump to start negotiations on becoming the 51st state! Isnt that awesome, making America great again

False.

1. Greenland is an autonomous territory of the Kingdom of Denmark.

2. A referendum would need to be held first. This referendum would need to list two options:
   a: separate from Denmark and join the US
   b: separate from Denmark and become its own sovereign nation.

I don’t know where you get your false info, but the Greenlandic prime minister has no say over this until referendums are held and separation occurs.

In addition, I did some searching to validate your statement but nothing came up. Can you post a credible reference?

He mentioned it today in the press, greenlands pm said he wants to meet with him and discuss things.  Yes the pm mentioned that he’s wanting there Independence but that doesn’t mean they’re not gonna be a part of the United States of America!!! the USA is independent. We have an independence Day. Each state has their own set of rules.  100% your right Alex something might not happen but them agreeing to meet and speak is huge!  Hopefully trump pulls it off!

The USA isn’t buying Greenland or Canada, we are offering to give them their freedoms back, lower taxes, actual rights.  That’s the deal.  Let the people decide, not some rich folks
