Title: Instantly dropping since latest BW update
Post by: La.h1pp13 on July 05, 2020, 12:43:38 am
I'm on drop #8 in league games since the newest update released. The drops are instantaneous and provide no drop traditional drop box. Is this happening to a lot of people?

I use remastered and it's auto-set to launch at 64 bit. It's not windows and it's not a corrupt file, according to the Blizzard scan. I'm sure the disconnections are from the update. They mentioned that the update included graphics changes to accommodate newer gfx cards, but I've updated my drivers as well. Typical Blizzard will take another 2 weeks to fix this.

Update:     Hey everyone,

Thank you all for reporting these issues. Following the patch, we have noticed an increase in reports of game crashes when running an AMD CPU/GPU combo. If you have an AMD CPU/GPU combo (known as an “APU”), be sure to update the AMD drivers. You can do so through AMD’s Drivers & Support website.

If updating the driver does not fix the issue, try switching to the 32-bit game client using the instructions below:

With the Battle.net Desktop App open and StarCraft selected, click Options (located under the game’s logo)
        Click Game Settings
Scroll down to StarCraft, and check “Launch 32-bit client (instead of 64-bit)”
        Click Done and retest

If neither of these do the trick and the game continues to crash, please provide a DxDiag in your reply. Here are the instructions:

        Press Windows Key + R.
        Type DxDiag and press Enter.
In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
Name the file “dxdiag” and click Save
Once you have that made, open the file. You’ll need to copy and paste the contents of the Text document into the post, and put four Tilde (~) marks above the DXDiag. It’ll look like this:

    DXDiag goes here

If you have issues pasting here, please use Pastebin and post the link (ex: Pastebin (dot) com/123456).

I did not know I had this driver, I updated it and am confident I won't be getting the crashes.
